My favorite seasoning is soy sauce; it has enough sodium to make meat savory, and it requires no other spices if you're in a hurry or don't have a full cabinet of spices. I usually add black pepper, ginger and a touch of rice vinegar (to tenderize and to add a unique tangy flavor). I highly recommend you cook pork chops on the grill no matter what the spices. I've found pan frying and oven baking don't yield as tasty a result most times. Cheers!

Try any of the Lawry's Marinades (Herb & Garlic and Lemon Pepper are my personal faves).
Allow the chops to marinate overnight in the fridge.
Before cooking, drain marinade; add a dash or two of lemon juice, and some lemon pepper salt.
Bake in oven at 350 degrees for about 1 hour (till golden brown)...then prepare your tastebuds for a real delight!

I have a recipe for a Pork Chop Marinade. My husband and I make "Refrigerator Door Sauce" for our marinade. It's Soy Sauce, Grape Jelly, Franks Red Hot (or Tabasco), and Mustard mixed together. There are no set measurements but I'd say we use about 1c Soy Sauce, 2 TBSP Jelly, 1TSP Red Hot, and 1/4C Mustard. It makes for a sweet and sour tangy marinade.

The way I marinade my chops is lay them in a cake pan, side by side and rub worcestershire sauce evenly over the meat, then sprinkle season salt on top! Repeat if overlaying meat! Let sit in fridge for a couple hours! Your chops will be tender and better than ever!

Season them with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Dust them with flour and brown on both sides then add chopped onions and cook until wilted. Add about 1/2" water cover and simmer for about an hour. They will be tender and tasty.
I also like to season them with salt and pepper, brown them and add a head of chopped cabbage and cook until the cabbage is tender. The chops give the cabbage a wonderful taste.
You can also pan fry them and serve with homemade cream potatoes. Just season them with meat tenderizer, a little salt, black pepper and garlic powder, dust with flour and brown in a little oil. Don't over cook them or they will be tough. Just cook them long enough to be light brown. Sweet potatoes go well with pork too. Enjoy

Try browning the chops, put them into a baking dish, add a can of drained sauerkraut, a small sliced apple, & sliced potatoes on top, cover with foil until potatoes are just tender, uncover, & let the potatoes slightly brown, in the oven, A whole meal, & only a couple of pans to wash.

I do a rub with a combo of Montreal Steak seasoning, cumin, ancho chili powder, and white pepper, and then grill it. SUPER yummy. I just eyeball the amounts, but it's like 4 parts steak seasoning, 1 part everything else...
