My boyfriend just called me, he is out of town on business. He used to work with a girl who I think had the hots for him, she would come into his office and sit and talk alot! He would tell me about , so I wasn't too worried. She ended up getting fired, so I havent' given her much thought lately. He just now called and told me she called him yesterday "just to say hi". I know she has the hots for him, I'm not sure what he thinks about her. At one point he asked me to go with him to a bbq she had invited him to at her house, so I thought, good sign. He also told me she called, and I guess he didn't have to tell me, so should I be worried. The guy is a filrt, he says she is not his type, and I know he enjoyed the attention, like any man would. what do y'all think? (We didn't go to the bbq due to a brief break-up so I haven't met her.) But I figure he really didn't even have to tell me about the bbq if he didn't want to. He says he thinks she has the hots for him too....any advice?

Okay, also, he says he didn't go to the bbq, but I guess I'll never know for sure. She lives in town here (CA)and he is in TX, but she called yesterday, and he just tells me today. He said he would tell her to quit calling because I did ask him to so. And like I said he is older 45 I am 29, and so I know he likes the attention a younger woman gives him, just not sure if he'd take the leap...I give all the ya know he could want 5 times a day, but I know that really means nothing, and I don't want to freak on him, because I do want him to tell me these things.....

Well you know him better than anyone else...and you sound worried...pretty much?..there is your answer.
CONFRONT him with your feelings...accept his answer..if you don't/can't...then you really don't have much of a relationship anyway, and move on.

It is good that he told you about her. but..you have to be aware that he is quite proud that she has a hots for him.. sometimes guys don't have to wait until their types to come along to cheat on GF..all the need is just opportunity.. who would say no to free meal?!!

dont lose any sleep over it - but to put him in check tell him about some guy(theres always someone you can think of) that you know - you dont even have to say that he flirts with you or anyhting - cause of you bf is really into you then the mere mention of another guy will get his attention

no.. i wouldn't worry at this point. he has had plenty of opportunity to get with her. you said that y'all were on a break at one time (during the BBQ) if there was going to be anything between them, one of them would have made the move then. it is okay for men and women to have friends of the opposite sex. sound to me like your man knows how to keep it at a perfect Platonic level with her.

he's not going to tell you about the BarBQ even if you ask, chance are he will probably deny it completely. don't be worried, play it koo tell him whats on your mind but try not to show agression or frustration, becasue if trust comes up as an issue u are looking for a garunteed end.

Well, I can say if a guy is not faithful he would not tell you this girl so you have one decent guy... Just next time you see this girl just hug your guy or be more affection so she knows he is taken by you.....
