This is a question for well built people but also for Martial Artists and boxers and the like.
I have seen many times on the TV when an interviewer or comedian is talking to people such as yourselves that they will often make a little joke then say " Don't hit me!" or "I'm not going to argue with you!
This annoys me (and I'm only 5' 3")
Why do they presume that you will not be able to just have a discussion if they disagreed with you?
You could be the sort of person who would dream of hitting someone if they made a joke or didn't agree with you.
When this happens, does it frustrate you as much as it does me?

I WOULD HIT HIM. just kidding. its just a way for people that don't do martial arts to havae laugh. because thats how talk show hosts get ratings. Big deal it happens once in a while. Its funny i laugh especially when its some one that essentially not that tough. IE Stevan segal. Hes big and knows Aikido. I'm not scared of him. Arnie hes may be teh governor bu thats the only thing that scares me about him. you can look big and people fear you so why take offence to it. its jsut the talk show host being a wuss and not thinking that when you do see a quintisential martial artist he as well had to do discipline training and not just fighting. well for the most part!

hi. (martial artist 4 10 years/ kickboxing, karate, weapons traing)
its just a joke so take it as one. all my friends say i look like a right nutter because of my shaved head etc. but in one respect i never get any trouble (never start any either) i think its just a urban myth thing that when they find out that u do martial arts they do the "wooo warrrgh" bruce lee thing (even tho he died 30+ years ago)! just ignore it because its a closed/ignorant mind.

Who would be afraid of a midget punk such as yourself? Have you been bullying lil kids or something?

You sound like a very opinionated person. I bet you have a couple hundred pet peeves.
