I don't think GetEmGang is as angry as he is frustrated...with the same questions being asked repeatedly. Also, some people seem to regard their dogs as potential money makers, rather than beloved pets. These people evolve into back yard breeders who breed with little knowledge and they don't care if they are breeding poor quality puppies who will end up in shelters and destroyed. They buy dogs without doing any research into the different kennel club registrations.
I don't think GetEMGang is here on Yahoo! Answers to win a popularity contest or the title of Mr. Congeniality and undoubtedly, the points mean nothing to him. If you will read his replies to questions, you can read that he does know a great deal about dogs.
GetEmGang doesn't coddle people. Admittedly, his people skills seem to be lacking kindness and understanding. Have you ever heard of the description, "short and to the point"?
Sometimes when I read questions like: My dog is puking and pooping blood, what ever shall I do? I have to remind myself that one catches more flies with honey and think before I type. After all...the answer is obvious but I try a little kindness. (depending on my mood)
I just hope GetEMGang doesn't have a job that requires him to work with the general public. Wouldn't it be humorous if he had a job that requires compassion? Can you imagine the Reverend GetEmGang? :) I prefer to visualize him sitting on his front porch, holding a shotgun in his lap with his faithful old hunting dog laying closely by his side.
I hope that he never answers me with a scathing reply! lol Until then, I will look a bit deeper than the apparent gruffiness and respect his knowledge! At least his replies are interesting to read and give me a good laugh!

I do not think dogging GetEm Gang is the answer. He may have several very sarcastic answers but everyone has the right to their own opinion and so many of his answers when it comes down to dog breeding is so true, we do have enough pet population and the back yard breeders do need to get their pets fixed instead of adding to the unwanted population.
I enjoy some of his answers as they are straight and to the point, but on the other hand there is some that do not need to be so rude.

I think he is probably some animal shelter worker suffering burnout...which happens. I know I couldn't help euthanize healthy animals every day & not feel like 'going off' on people when they ask about breeding & want to get dogs without doing reality checks about the breed's exercise requirements & personality - then asking questions about things they should have known were breed characteristics. Having worked for vets, this stuff gets to me, too. Yes, he probably needs anger management classes, but maybe he is a balance for some of the others that offer sometimes inane or even dangerous advice (like rubbing pup's noses in feces to 'help' housetrain - don't they know this can cause coprophagia)? It takes all kinds.

Hahahaha! I agree. I see a lot of people here asking serious questions that they are looking for help with. When they get slammed contstantly it really doesn't help with their questions.
