Whenever I make a mistake, my parents get totally upset. Why do you suppose that is?

your parent care about you A LOT, even if you don't see it. Sometimes parents see their own mistakes in their children's choices and it freaks them out because they don't want you to take the wrong road like they did. They want the best for you and it makes them crazy when they think you can have the best, if you only make the right choices. They also might see something of themselves that they don't like in you, and that makes them unreasonable and unkind sometimes, but trust me...they really do love and care about you, they've just lost touch with how to show it. You are lucky to have parents that care so much about you, even if it really sucks when they get so upset. Hang tough and good luck!

Parents have expectations for each child they may not be that of the child however they do have them. What you may have done
is your way of learning, it is called testing the waters.
The child will test the parents will respond how you understand the parents are saying or doing is how you react.

Instead of not knowing what to do this is your the child's chance to grow Ask How you could have handled the mistake and ask to talk about why you did it.

Any mistake? Surely they overlook the small ones, or insignificant errors. But serious mistakes should only upset parents who expect the very best from their children. If you have exhibited a superior intelligence, then they will expect the very best at all times, and naturally they will be disappointed when you err. But if they are over reacting, then that is their problem, and you are going to have to learn to live with it, as you continue to live with them.

My guess would be cause they expect more of you some parents are just like that.
And i sappose to depending on the mistake you have made being was it a stupid mistake somethin you should have know better to do or not to do?

Parents are loving usually, They do not like to see their offspring s make mistakes, although we know our children will . we just like holding our children up . Please for give us{ as Parents} for wanting the best for you. I am speaking from a parent point of view.Sometimes I expected perfection from my children. When in the back of my mind. probably because they expect you to be perfect, or think you should be just like them. they don't understand when you make decisions that they wouldn't make - sometimes parents don't realize that you have to learn by making mistakes.
