He uses the pet names, always notes how cute and adorable I am or am being at present time. When he has big life changing news and only 10 minutes out of his whole day to tell someone, I'm the one he spends the entire ten minutes telling. He will spend nearly the entire day with me from morning until night..and then 30 minutes later call to talk and say goodnight. If we're not together then he calls randomly to talk throughout the day. Before me he would never talk or spend time with ANYONE while he had his daughter, he welcomes me too all the time.He has other close friends he's had SEVERAL years and an active social life.He wants to be the one I feel closest too, He's straight and thinks I'm gorgeous. He says "you make me happy". He also jokes around and teases me about things in a playful manner often. He says he loves getting my reaction and what not. What is your most accurate judgement of his feelings towards me based on the examples and information I have given?

If you're wondering why I'm asking it's because those are his ACTIONS towards me, however anytime he's in a vulnerable position with me he either plays it off like he cares but you know..not that deep. Or if he says something that again makes him vulnerable at a later time he'll tell me he was just joking. The math doesn't add up here. My head is spinning from trying to understand this huge gap in action and word.

I have talked to him about how I feel. He doesn't beleive it. He thinks maybe I'm just mistaken and there are plenty of other options that could be better than him. He's a very insecure guy and went through hell with his marriage.

Oh come on. How do you know he was never like this with anyone else? Are you a guy or a girl? I hope you are a girl. How come he's not with you all night? If he loves you so much, how come he doesn't marry you? Is he already married? If so, how come he doesn't get a divorce to be with you all the time. You delude yourself. You seem to have a strong need to feel special. My most accurate judgement is that you are his latest conquest. You did want the truth didn't you?

Sounds like he has a commitment problem. He might have been burned previusly so he has cold feet. Suggest you be a bit less available and when he asks why, tell him how you feel about him but that without real commitment on his part you feel you might be wasting your time. 'Stick to your guns' or:

50 Ways To Leave Your Lover

The problem is all inside your head
She said to me
The answer is easy if you
Take it logically
I’d like to help you in your struggle
To be free
There must be fifty ways
To leave your lover

She said it’s really not my habit
To intrude
Furthermore, I hope my meaning
Won’t be lost or misconstrued
But I’ll repeat myself
At the risk of being crude
There must be fifty ways
To leave your lover
Fifty ways to leave your lover

You just slip out the back, Jack
Make a new plan, Stan
You don’t need to be coy, Roy
Just get yourself free
Hop on the bus, Gus
You don’t need to discuss much
Just drop off the key, Lee
And get yourself free

She said it grieves me so
To see you in such pain
I wish there was something I could do
To make you smile again
I said I appreciate that
And would you please explain
About the fifty ways

She said why don’t we both
Just sleep on it tonight
And I believe in the morning
You’ll begin to see the light
And then she kissed me
And I realized she probably was right
There must be fifty ways
To leave your lover
Fifty ways to leave your lover

i think he has strong feelings for you but might be scared for some reason. just give it some time and flirt back with him and see what happens. sounds like this could grow into something big. good luck with him!
