my soon-to-be wife is upset about my bachelor party...
how do i explain to her that it's normal for my friends to hire a prostitute for me the day before my wedding? its not like i dont know the girl, she's my ex-girlfriend... so theres hardly any risk of diseases.

I don't know about that disease free thing. I had plenty of sex with your ex- and current girlfriend and my son has AIDS so... I do too.

I don't know where you're from, but in this country it's customary for the bachelor party to include strippers, not prostitutes!! If you're still wanting to have sex with other girls, especially your ex-girlfriend then maybe you shouldn't be getting married. Your fiance has every right to be pissed off, if it were me the wedding would be off. Don't be a slime ball, you are obviously in a committed relationship and just because you're getting married doesn't mean you can sleep with some prostitute. I find it hilarious that you add , "she's my ex-girlfriend....so theres hardly any risk of diseases". HARDLY ANY risk huh??? I hope you keep that in mind when you go for your next HIV test. If you are going to be a pile of sh*t and go and sleep with this girl the LEAST you can do is wrap it up!! Double bag it for God's sakes. I hope you use your brain...how would you like it if your fiance went off and slept with one of her ex-boyfriends? I doubt you would chalk it up to customary wedding tradition. Don't be a fool, keep your goods in your pants.

Tradition usually goes with the best man hosting the bachelor party. However, most weddings these days are not 100% traditional, so if you aren't the best man then maybe you can offer. If he has chosen a BM then you should contact him to see if he is going to do it. Some close friends of the groom split of the costs, the planning, etc. to make it easier. Maybe you can volunteer to plan the party and try to get other groomsmen to chip in. I would talk to your friend and his wedding party (the best man, groomsmen, possibly close brothers/cousins) to make sure that you are all on board.

It's NOT normal, and I wouldn't marry you. A stripper/strip club is one thing -- can you really be serious about a prostitute? If you love your fiance you shouldn't even want a prostitute the day before the wedding. How would you feel if you were in her shoes?

Dude, it's NOT customary - or normal. Strippers are one thing, prostitutes are another. (And are you really saying that you used to date a prostitute? Or is she just taking cash from your friends to sleep with you one last time?)

Easy solution. Tell her it's okay for her to spend the night with her ex boyfriend... That way the both of you should be pretty safe from diseases....
