My 7 year old daughter's ankles turn in. It makes her alittle knock kneed. Although I will be taking her to the doctor I was wondering if anyone has dealt with this. Can it be fixed with exercises that will strengthen her muscles around her ankles? Or maybe even shoe inserts??

Your question is more appropriate for an orthopaedic surgeon. He would have to see your daughter and examine her. X-rays and perhaps a C.A.T. scan might be valuable in making a diagnosis, proeperatory to treatment. (which may rquire physiotherapy, or medication or, less likely, surgery).
It is best to seek a medical opion early, as results are best with early treatment. (before complications arise, or mobility is affected).
Is there a shriner's hospital in your area? They treat children with orthopaedic, (bone), conditions. They usually do not charge for diagnoses, treatment nor hospital stays (if required). if you have limited financial means. (the Shriners organisation is a charitable affiliate of the Worldwide Masonic organisation). They accept all children as potential patients, and bar no group, for ethnicity, religion, colour nor financial means.
Please have your daughter examiined. She is precious, she is a member of our future.
Good luck & G-d bless,
Doc. Dan.

have you looked at the wear pattern on the bottom of her shoes? That can indicate if she is walking in an abnormal way. There are several shoe inserts available, although I'm not sure about finding child size inserts.Consider wether she is height/weight porportioned and wether she is uncomfortable walking. Sometimes tall thin chhildren just need to grow into their body. Quality shoes are also a great investment for growing kids. How about high top shoes or boots?
