Would any of you be up for a role reversal for a day?

The atheists would defend the Bible and the Christians would defend evolution, and we would see who does a better job when the roles are reversed.

eh? sound like fun?

lol what about the Christians who share more in common with the Athiests, like me? I believe in evolution, but I also defend the New Testament and theories in the Old Testament...which side do I get?

Of course if you find the answer to that one I would love to participate. ;-)

Sure, I've got my script memorized =)

1. It's called FAITH
2. Read the bible!
3. You're taking that verse out of context!
4. Because the bible is TRUE!
5. You shouldn't take that part of the bible literally.
6. Because God said so.
7. You're going to hell !

Not an all-inclusive list, but in the interest of time, that should work =)

No, I don't think I could defend evolution. After all, there's no evidence.

i have defended other religions and people of other faith and their Holy books when someone tried to disgrace them. that isbecause i have freinds from other Faiths too. but at the same time -- i also will stand up to what i beleive. unjust criticism of a specific religion is very wrong and unacceptable -- ve it any religion or faith for that matter.

It wouldn't work

Most non-believers have a grasp of both the bible and reality
The believers don't have a grasp on reality.... but wait, they don't understand their own bible either, so maybe it wouldn't be much of a difference after all.

Not so tough anyway. The non-Christians here don't seem to have the most sophisticated grasp of their own ideas. And they ask why we look for guidance ...
