the main thing of importance was his death and resurrection. though his burial and resurrection on the third day fulfilled bible prophecy and is therefore important for showing bible prophecy is true and can be trusted

I'm not quite sure what they are getting at. I know that in those times people thought the spirit dwelled with the body for 3 days after their physical death. This would explain why Jesus waited until the 4th day to raise Lazarus. (To prove that He had the power and authority over death). But like I said, I don't know what they are looking for.

It proves that he was really dead. He was buried in a new tomb and it was sealed and guarded. A person couldn't just rise from the grave like that. It had to be a miracle from God.

In Islam, Jesus (Prophet Isa) is not dead, till now..i don't remember the whole story, but actually the one who was crucified wasn't Jesus, but the one who lead his man to chase and to kill the real Jesus. God (Allah) save Jesus, brought him up to sky(heaven?) and change the face of the bad guy to Jesus's face..Jesus will come down someday.

the importance of it is he rose from the dead. they put him in a cave and rolled a boulder in front of the opening and when they came back three days later, the boulder was moved and he was gone.

Jesus was not buried. He was placed in a tomb quickly because it was the Sabbath. But He didn't stay there.
