Looking for a good bottle of Pinot Gris... which is the best and why?

Look for Pinot Gris from New Zealand -- they are making some really cracking good ones, alternatively try Alsace (it may be named Tokay Pinot Gris).

It all depends on what you are eating. You'll want a good pairing to compliment the dish you're eating it with. What I would do (since I'm not expert on wine) is go to your local wine or liquor store and ask someone to help you.

i mostly cook with whites... but..


i had this one time, couldn't obtain it through the grocer any more but here's a review and where you can get it.

i sort of agree with the review but it was a wee sweet.

i like using this type for my candied bacon or sweet and sour chicken bbq kabobs.
