I think my thoughts determine my reality...
... but that doesn't mean that other people's thoughts can't change my reality, either.
Everyone makes their own reality, and everybody gets angry with others because their realities don't match up.

We can't choose our reality but we CAN choose our reaction to what happens to us; we can choose to become angry and bitter if something bad comes, or we can choose to make it a stepping stone to something better. In a sense, yes, you can school your thoughts to find the light in any tunnel, but sometimes you have to admit that your "tunnel" is a mine shaft, and just find a way OUT. I did, and I'm glad.

absolutely! a person's reality is all relative... I mean like the difference between what you think you look like and how you actually look is enough to kill most people

Of course not -- otherwise, the insane and people using mind-altering drugs would have superhuman powers, and the ordinary folks would witness them flying, turning invisible, etc.
