What I have to say will probably anger allot of ppl. So just give me a thumbs down now.. because I stand by what I say.

Any time you have a radical or extremist .. doesn't matter the religion ... they are dangerous.

On behalf of Rosie, Americans have the right to choose their religion. We have devout religions here, Christianity, Muslim, Buddhist, Catholics.. we have it all! That's our right, our freedom.

But when you have a radical group, they are self destructive and morally inept.

There are innocent ppl that are dying because they have the same beliefs as the extremist. Islamic ppl are who suffer at the hands of our attacks.. taking the bullets for the extremist.

As a Christian, nobody knows me.. but I get labeled from the haters.. from those that think ALL Christians are radicals. I'm not a radical. But I take the fall for it, each time I mention my religious beliefs.

Take Adolf Hitler, for example.. a man of power.. an EXTREMIST in his own rights.. and look at ALL THE INNOCENT JEWS that died because of his radical behavior and power.

I personally agree with Rosie. I have been saying the same thing since 9/11/01. Just because the terrorists who attacked were radical Muslims, that does not mean you can say all radical Muslims or all Muslims. They just happened to be crazy ones who attacked. You'll find radical Christians who are crazy as well. I'm personally appalled with Joe Scarborough and Steve Adubato's comments regarding this whole issue. Rosie and ABC DO NOT NEED TO APPOLOGIZE for what was said. Her comments were valid. Speaking for myself, in this country I have come up against more fundimentalist Christians who have been dangerous. I do not fear my life from any religious sect. Terrorists are terrorists and should not be labeled as such by their religious beliefs. The whole thing just makes me so angry! I honestly believe a large number of people in this country have misguided views based on the fact that the US is predominantly a Christian country, regardless of the fact that we're supposed to have religious freedom here.

My opinion is she is such a bad choice to replace Starr Jones. At least Starr was smart. Rosie seems so low class and who would want to hear her opinion? Maybe Rosie needs to run everything she is going to say across Barbra Walters first. Maybe she can learn something about Political correctness from her? Oh wait no. She fired Star. The only one on the show worth seeing and listening to is Joy. It is obvious to me that there are at least 2 people on The View now who appear to actually NOT like being on the show anymore. You know who they are are. Good Luck Rosie and Barbara with your new show. Maybe call it *Our view is the only view that counts* You 2 can sit on the stage and cut up things neither one of you know anything about. ugh. The show STINKS now...

I agree. Radical Christians (The Army of God, the Aryan Nation, The Reconstructionists, Operation Rescue) are just as dangerous as radical Muslims. The difference in America is that our home-grown fanatics are marginalized both by our culture and law. We have groups of Christians in this country who are willing to kill in the name of their twisted version of faith.

Note: Unlike what the hosts of the show were saying, O'Donnell was comparing RADICAL Christianity to extremist Islam. Big difference from what they were talking about.

Rosie has several degrees in philosophy and political science. Shes written many books and is an esteemed scholar with an important opinion on the subject. Humanity is fortunate to be able to hear such a brilliant mind on international tv.

It really bugs me when ignorant hollywood monkeys spread their ignorance to millions...fortunately thats not the case here.

Two things come to mind:
1. I think she underestimates how very much radical Muslims (note: not every Muslim!!!!) want to kill us--all of us, non-muslims as well as muslims that may be killed as a secondary effect--for example, muslims died side by side with Christians, Jews, Atheists...etc on Sept. 11, 06. It is written into the Al Qaeda handbook that all people must convert to Islam. The captors of the Fox News reporters released just a couple of weeks ago forced these two men to "convert" and told them if the West would only "convert to Islam" all their problems would be solved. I hope and pray that most Christians would willingly give up their lives before denying Christ and allowing any group of people to enforce one relgion in their countries.
2. I think O'Donnell is angry with Christianity, partly because she misunderstands it, partly because she truly has encountered unloving and mean Christians and partly because she feels guilty deep inside.

Thanks for reading! God Bless!

You are all morons. Fundamentalism and extreme religious zealousness in general breeds hate, fear, and strengthens the current idiotic social hierchal system. Who gives a scheisse what Rosie said? She is entitled to her opinions, although I think she went a bit far, I agree with her. Fundamentalist will disown their own child for being gay or getting a tattoo. In my opinion, that is nearly as bad.

i actually see where Rosie is coming from!

I'm a Christian.. and some times I blush at the behavoirs of my religion.

I don't htink she was attacking Christians.. she's defending Islamic radicals and innocent Islamics.. her point was overlooked when Elizabeth butted in.

Ppl should be more concerned about Barbara Walters thinking her DOG talked to her.. Chacha her dog, said "I love you" and Barbara heard it with her own two ears..

I actually quit watching the View sometime ago. I did see the segment. I just can't believe they got Rosie on the View. She is the worst. She is nothing but bad taste. She is not wrong about everything I must admit and has done some good things.
But my gosh her mouth is horrible.
