i saw this in another question,god chooses which woman will get pregnant,if thats the case,why all the pregnancys to women that dont want children?teen pregnancys?what about the woman that desperately wants children and can provide a stable upbringing,but cant get pregnant?i find this discriminating and not fair,and why do all the irresponsible women get pregnant,if god really existed,dont you think it would be the other way around?serious thought out answers please and dont bash me for being a nonbeliever,im not bashing anyones beliefs,i just want serious responses to this.

I agree with you, if in fact God chooses, why do women on drugs have a unwanted child every year, I have meet women who don't even know what day they gave birth, and cant pick there children out of a crowd.....Why would God purposely choose THESE women ?. There are whole cities where 5-6 children per family have not had to opportunity to be raised by a biological mother.

I am a believer and I think it is good to question. We have been discussing this kind of thing in Sunday school. The bottom line is that God gives humans free will. And some things are just beyond our human comprehension. Like why the tsunami? and things like that. People need to accept that there are some things in this world that, try as we may, we cannot understand. And I do feel there are reasons for things, even if I cannot see it at the time.

I have thought about this for a long time myself. Here's my view: God chooses who to give to children to. There are cases where God makes mistakes but out of those mistake those women learn. I know someone who got pregnant, aborted the child, lost the father (which was the love of her life) because he found out about it and now is living miserably for the mistake she made. There's a reason why God gives and not gives us children. This reason we may not know.

Being a non believe myself, the only sensible answer I could give you would be this. God had a different purpose for giving the women a pregnancy other than simply for her happiness, for example if the child were to go on to fulfil something of high importance.

I've never heard the God "chooses" which women will get pregnant. I always thought that sperm meeting egg got a woman pregnant. Seriously, as a christian, I've never heard that in all my 28 years of life.

Why did the USA fry 300,000 Japanese in WW2? "It was God's will"
Why did Hitler kill 6 million Jews? "It was God's will"

Why are we continuing to use up all the remaining fossil fuels and ignoring the consequences that are looming our way? "It's God's will"
Why does the church demand a tithe from its followers? "It's God's will"

that's right, it would be against god to do that. in the bible God promises children to people who are very old and barren. That's a pretty generous thing to do. He also punished some women by making them barren, but they deserved it. All in all, God loves us and wants us to have kids. How else would we keep up the population of the world?

u r wrong...just to see some irresponsible women cant be reason that all the women that get pragnent are irresponsible...2nd,cant u see all of these orders in the world if god created these things he cant be unfair to us..just take a look at the planets and their cycle..

I suppose it how you see the human realtionship with god. Many people believe he is there to love and help us. But really, who knows? Maybe he's created humans for his amusement. Maybe he's a sadist, maybe he just doesn't give a gosh darn about what happens to humans after he created them.

Dunno i think about it this way. if god DOES exist, he hasnt been around since time of jesus, hence hes neglecting us. and like children what happens to them if you neglect them? mental/emotional/phsyical damage... no wonder the world is so screwed up... (that is if there is a god, hes not doing a very good job of being a "father" as they call him)
