What advantages/disadvantages do you see in DSM-IV TR or ICD 10, Mental and Behavioural Disorders chapter?

Sorry for keeping posting questions about these two classification systems, but i write my extended essay from this theme and i wish to get as many opinions as possible. What pros and cons do you find in using either of the systems?

advantage is that they help one classify the disorders and diagnose them appropriately since there is so much confusion or overlap and disadvantage is that they may take some time on occasion.
