What really does it mean to live a christian life or what is the christian life?

To me, a Christian is simply someone who believes in and tries to live according to the Jesus mythology.

To be a christian is when u believe that Jesus Christ came down on the earth and paid for UR sins on the cross. By doing this u ask God to forgive u of ur sins and ask him to come into ur heart. Get a bible and read it for more info. And to live the christian life is just to be a believer in Jesus Christ and tell the world about him too. U dont want ur Friends and Family going to hell do U?? John 3:16"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him shall not paerish but have everlasting life." Meaning: God sent down his son t die for our sins on the cross. Watch the Passion of the Christ. Attend a baptist church or a bible fellowship church. Not a catholic church or luthuran or Kindom hall! to live the christian life is just that ur a christian. Christianity is not a cult. your church will give u mroe info. SO READ THE BIBLE. A Christian is someone who has accepted Jesus as their savior and Lord and is trying to live their life as a modern day disciple by spread the word and teaching other non believers the truth. It is not jsut simplying believing in God. It is a heart commitment to follow God and to make your life here on earth focused on bringing others to a saving knowledge of God and living your life trying to glorify God.

My husband actually refuses to call himself a Christian because of all the horrible things that have been done in the name of Christianity and God. Such as the Crusades, Inquisition, Holocaust, witch hunts...

means being born again and trying to do the right thing..with God helping us when we mess up...I try to help ppl when I can but Im not a rich person...im in between jobs and can use prayers bor a day job near where I live that is good for me...thanks
