Only Jibba gave an interesting answer so far....how do you prove that your faith is THE faith without the bible...and how do you build faith on something you aren't sure about? I know why some people believe in the threat if hell now.

Because I have tried and and it works.
When you open it up and use it as an instructional manual for life...it is amazing what a great end result you will have. I have seen people get healed, set free of addictions, improve their finances, and most importantly find a relationship with GOD.
Do you need the Bible to believe in God. No, people in other countries where it is illegal to have Bibles believe because of what they have heard. I highly recommend talking to someone who has done mission work in other countries. Listen to their amazing accounts, it will truly change your life.
The Bible gives you instruction and lets you know the character and nature of God. I live in a country where I can embrace the bible and share it with others...Thank you Jesus!

How can you be sure that anything is the ultimate proof you need to believe anything? At some point you have to make a decision. Some people make that decision more readily than others.
In my opinion, life is too short to spend it being cynical and skeptical about everything. Live life. Embrace goodness. It ain't rocket science.

It's not.The proof is in the relation you have with Christ.The Bible is only a lesson book and history.

The Bible points to the Living God, and how to find your way to Him. If you seek Him on His terms, through the knowledge He gives in His Word, you find Him. And THAT is your proof.
