if he's been your friend for 4 years, he already does like you. How to get him to like you as a gf? You cant make him, you can tell him how you feel about him and the rest is up to him. If he doesnt like you as a gf... no loss, he's still a friend, right?

First, ask yourself "What is the value of this friendship to me?" Sometimes declaring more intense feelings or changing a friendship that has obviously worked for 4 years, may jeopardize any relationship. If that is not a concern, and you want to make your relationship more than friends, you may want to tread lightly and perhaps invite to do an activity with you. Maybe an activity which involves other "couples" or something that is more personal, i.e. going on a hike and making a picnic lunch; going dancing; anything that makes him see you in a different light. Of course, you could always just ask him if he's interested in taking your relationship to another level. **** Luck, whatever you decide.

What is the matter with some of you? You CAN'T MAKE someone like you. You can't force feelings upon a person that doesn't have them.
Anyway if you're willing to sacrifice your friendship forever, tell him your true feelings. That way he can either feel uncomfortable and awkward whenever he's around you, or you can date and find out you're not compatible as a compatible as a couple and never be friends again.

If yall are friends and you have liked him for 4 years and still nothing has come out of it, I think that you are wasting your time.
In that 4 years he would have to know some how that you liked him and if hasnt made a move yet then he might not ever. I would get over hiim and find someone new.
You cant waste your time trying to make someone like you.

Chances are, if he liked you that way, he would've made his move already. Or maybe he is just really shy. I think you should tell him. That's what people keep telling me to do in my current situation, which is similar to yours. I haven't yet, but I plan to soon. It's better to know the truth.

he already likes you and if he wanted more you'd know.I'd leave it alone and find something else to fantasize about.He will let you know why put a strain on the friendship.
