Does anyone know of any other free web browsers I could use on my pc besides mozilla/firefox?

I was wondering if there is any other free web browsers out there that won't put bugs in my computer? I use Firefox but it knocks me offline most of the time.

I am using more then four browsers simultaneously because of the nature of my job and i perefectly know each browser's capabilities ... sharing with you for your decision..

1. IE: worst browser .. n not using it from last seversl months ..
only usefullness : Only used to open default links (Applications).

2. Firefox: Best browser .. everthing is perfect but you have to be cautious in installing some plugins (But plugins always developed by third party vendors..y to blame firefox)

3. Netscape: Same firefox technology but a bit slow .. Very strong password remembering mechanism and automatic too (means autologin support .. firefox didn't allow this) .. have some plus points like suspicious site notification, ID theft protection etc.

4. Opera: Currently installed it and found that even with most of firefox capabilities it have one additional support i.e. to download torrents file without any additional torrent program, other fetaure : site preference..

Finally if you have to choose between many choose firefox >> Opera >> Netscape in the order of preference ..

Other free browser are Netscape, Opera which are good. I personally use its along with Internet explorer. You can get Opera from zdnet or cnet websites. Opera is nearly 7 to 9 MB of files, First Download and then install it. Netscape is are more in MB and multifunction.

Internet Explorer The worst 1 is IE with spyware, malware, viruses etc

why dont use frfx its the best.

Dont use avant as it is based on the ie platform only and it takes a lot a time 2 put ur comp right if it gets infected. :-(

Use opera but it very complicated or netscape though microsoft (bullies) drove it 2 extinction.

I found one that really works great with all the Xp upgrades. It is called acoo and you can change the face or skin to what you want. I have found it better than windows or foxfire. Best of all its free.

MSN explorer is pretty good.I don't think it's firefox knocking you off.Do a virus scan.
