As a follow-up to my last question; I did buy the Zodiac Spot On, but promptly returned it to the store and asked for Frontline Plus. Thanks to the person who reminded me that they don't keep it with the other supplies....I'd completely forgotten that I used to see it in a case at our old pet store.

The infestation isn't bad enough to warrant bombing my home....we didn't even know she had fleas. The vet couldn't even find any on her, he just knew she had it because of the FAD.

Anyways, I got the Frontline Plus instead of the Advantage because Advantage only kills adult fleas. Now onto my question....

I applied the Frontline Plus to both of my cats. It says to avoid topical application, so I got down to the skin like I was supposed to. However, in mid-application, my male moved, so some of it got on his fur. Now there's a greasy spot there....should I wipe it away with a rag, or not worry about it?

Don't' worry about it. The grease will eventually disappear itself as it needs. Many times even if you do get it all on the skin the fur will show a grease spot.

Don't worry about it, it'll go away in a day or two. I've got 3 & almost always end up with some on their fur. They can't get to it if it's applied correctly & it will disappear eventually.

Don't worry about this. Most folks who use the topical end up with getting some on the fur. Hopefully, you put it between their shoulder blades so they can lick their coat? The little spot will disappear overnight normally.

Don't touch it. It will soak in.

Good Luck
