is there any need for this nastiness he`s only asking a question
if you live somewhere thats easy to get a job think your self lucky cos theres plenty of places in this country where you might have no option but to try and live on 40 odd pounds dole money
back to the question i dont think its very likely and if your mam gets housing benefit depending on how old you are she might not get allowed as much. dont care aboutwhat this lot says what goes round comes round

If you get Income Support Related to Earnings and your mother is dependant on you (Which sometimes this can happen) then Yes. But If none of this applies then still ask you can get one of two answers Yes or No. Under the special circumstances provisions You may be able to claim this benefit, again you have to satisfy the DWP that there are special circumstances. If you mum ordinarily gets income support (there is qualification for housing benefit/council tax benefit on the grounds of low income) then she can get this benefit. Speak to to a benefits adviser at the CAB or at the DWP. You may be entitled to claim this benefit, if you are you can only back claim 4 weeks unless there were/are good reasons for you not claiming before.

I'm not sure what council that person works for, but no you can't claim housing benefit if you are living with parents, grandparents or anyone like that. The money you pay your mom is KEEP not rent.
If you were to get a place of your own, you probably would.

Yes you can, go to your local council and ask for the forms and they will be able to help you and work out how much you are entitled to.

Not really, unless you have a rent book, that is the only way that you can prove you pay her rent.
