Well, the dudes who hatched the bible were only aware of the eye-ball vivible planets... Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. They knew them as 'wandering stars', among the static backdrop of a few thousand actual stars. So, strictly speaking, the discoveries of Neptune, Uranus and Pluto were blasphemous. The discovery of around 200 billion ther stars in our galazy was blasphemy. The discovery of 100 billion or so galaxies was blasphemy. Considering all that, one could regard the demotion of Pluto as the first step toward setting things right... UNblasphemy, if you will. All that remains is to disappear Uranus and Neptune, and erase all knowledge of the other stars and galaxies, and things will soon be back in tune with the Wholly Babble. Judging from the level of scientific knowledge on the part of the majority of Christians on this web site, I would guess that we're about 90% there. Before too long, the sky will be a solid object again, with heaven right over our heads, on the other side of it.

The heavens are unchanged, have no fear.
Pluto has been there for eons.

It is man that has changed...
man changed the criteria by which a planet is established.

The heavens are unchanged, Pluto is still there. It's just labeled as something less than a planet.

Pluto has'nt changed, only its status as a planet has changed. Besides there is a prabability of heavens "changing". The Bible says that though heavens and earth may pass away His word will never pass away.

We haven't changed the fact that Pluto is there, only how we classify it as humans. That's like saying that when we first discovered Pluto in the 1930's, we changed the universe. We didn't--we just found more of it.

Pluto hadn't even been discovered when the Bible was written. Guess it would have been more of a problem when first seen, rather than now.

Nah. Mankind knows very little of God's Creation. 100 years ago, men didn't even know there WAS a Pluto. This just shows how dim mankind really is.

Jehovah's Witnesses easily DO trust Jesus to be the Son of God. further, Jehovah's Witnesses understand that Jesus is a deity, a god in accordance to the Bible itself. for sure, the Bible teaches that Almighty Jehovah ("God the daddy") has no friends. yet, the bible it appears that evidently mentions different "gods". .. ..(a million Corinthians 8:5) there are those who're referred to as “gods,” even if in heaven or in the international Jesus as "a god": (John a million:a million; Isaiah 9:6; John a million:18) Angels as 'gods': (Psalm 80 2:a million) devil as a 'god': (2 Corinthians 4:4) Human judges as "gods": (Psalm 80 2:6-8) No human or angel might want to ever compete with Almighty God, and the bible is sparkling to maintain away from that suggestion. Jehovah is "the only authentic God" contained in the experience that He has no rival. .. ..(Psalm 86:8,10) there is none like you between the gods, O Jehovah... you're God, you on my own. .. ..(Exodus 22:20) one which sacrifices to any gods yet Jehovah on my own is to be committed to destruction. further, in basic terms Jehovah the daddy advantages worshipful "unique devotion". Jesus himself made the point that the daddy advantages a particular type of committed "sacred service". .. ..(Exodus 20:2,5) i'm Jehovah your God... I Jehovah your God am a God exacting unique devotion .. ..(Matthew 4:10) Jesus stated to him: “...‘it really is Jehovah your God you would possibly want to worship, and it really is to him on my own you would possibly want to render sacred service.

All they did was change our human definition of a planet.
Pluto was and is the same as its ever been.

We can change words and definitions, but that does not change reality, just our wording of it.

For people's soul sake, I would like to say God is real. If he was not I would not have made it through the things I have. There would be nothing better to look forward to if there were no God.

The people are what's changing things, not God.
