Lack of bile. The dog cannot digest food without the bile, and so it comes back up.

You can control liver problems with strict diets. I am an animal healer. If you want me to suggest a diet for your sister's dog, please drop me an e-mail. It would not be a ready made mix. If your sister loves her dog enough to be buying him and preparing for him fresh food, I can help them. Read about examples of my work with animals on the Dhaxem website.
