its not wise to have a boyfriend so young. enjoy your time with all your friends.

I can tell you from experience! I had a boyfriend in 5th grade. It was the type of relationship where the boy "asked me out" and then we never talked again! That was also 15 years ago! Times have changed.
I would talk to the girl and ask her what kinds of things she would be doing with the "boyfriend". Would she be hanging out with a group of friends and he is there? Would they be together, by themselves? I just think that in the times we are living now, the kids are WAY more mature than I was when I was in 5th grade. Even though she may like the boy, she shouldn't "commit" so early. It may be the cool thing to do--to have a boyfriend--but how cool is starting all the drama so early?

I dont see a problem with a 5th grader having a boyfriend. I had a boyfriend in 4th and 5th grade (same guy)

A 5th grader can play at having a boyfriend, but a real boyfriend, no that is much too early.

Honey I have a 1st grader and a 3rd grader! They both have a boyfriend but at their age it is just puppy love! When they get older and are still together in High school then they can consider them as a boyfriend/girlfriend!! Nothing to worry about!!

Depends on whether or not the chic is worth the time...i mean for a 5th grader? Do you really want to have your parents drive you to your "dates" house and then to wherever you wish to go? Give it time bud...

She can but she shouldn't.
She should be spending her time doing her homework and learning useful tasks (such as cooking and sewing).

in my opinion no. cuz you are young and boyz are trouble so just hold off as long as possible believe me its easier tha way.
