From personal experience yes..Don't give it up right away, make sure you know the real reason he is there...I did and and 4 years later hes still with me!

Women who hold out longer are taken more seriously. If you give it up on the first date, then what's to keep you from doing the same with someone else? If you do on the third, why am I so special? If after three months, that's better, a year, better, until marriage, best.
At the same time, you have to ballance that against the, "Why am I not as good as the last guy that you did after the third date?" thing.

There was a survey done that said women know within the first few minutes if they want to sleep with a guy. If a girl doesn't want to have sex, I would respect her wishes. But I would think she is just not interrested in me in that way. Therefore, I would move on.
Isn't withholding sex purposefully playing games?

Yes it does you can find out there true intentions. I did that with my boyfriend but now husband i held out for a year and that is how i know that he really cares for me because if they can wait no matter how many years they truly do like you and want to be with you. SO DO your thing hold out that way you can know what kind of man he truly is. GOOD LUCK

it doesmake a very big difference,one thing i dont understand with men is when we give in to sex they call us all those filthy names when we choose to hold back they say we dont love them so girlfriend the ball is in your side what will you preffer?though i will preffer get to know him well before you have sex with him,he will respect you for that

I have tried both,, and they ended up the same,, I have been dumped cuz I would put out,, and I have been dumped after we did it on the 1st or 2nd date,, and I have had a nice realationship with someone who I did and didn't with too,, soooo??? who knows
