We have been dating for about 6 weeks...we see each other about once a week talk every other day or so. I really like him and we have several plans for the next month of so. Last we were together he referenced buying me a xmas present. I really like this guy but dont want to get to excitied about it. Guys if you are casually dating a girl but make plans months in advance and reference a holiday that is 4 months away...are you thinking pretty serious about the relationship?

For those of you who think he is just trying to get a piece....we have done nothing other then makeout...he has not tried and is not rushing it. He in fact has a no-sex rule unless he is in a serious relationship.

I think he is feeling you out. He's trying to see, in a casual way. if you are in this for the long haul. You should be happy.
Although you are right, X-mas is a while away. Still it seems obvious to me that he wants to be in relationship with you!
I don't see how other people can think that he is stringing you along. Stringing you along how? By spending time with you & asking you about X-mas? Come on! I think some people have been trampled by guys too many times & are getting paranoid because of it.
Be positive! You can't live your life always being afraid of thing going wrong! Besides it's always nice to be in love during Christmastime! Good for you, Girl!! Good Luck!

You're right not to get too excited about it as you're very early on in the relationship stakes and Christmas is still a long way away. But yes I think you should feel quietly confident that he feels that he still wants to be seeing you at Christmas time.

He is probably thinking this is going to be a long term thing. Dont get too excited about it. Things can end in a heartbeat. Just take it slow for now, he might be with you till the end. Cheers

I wouldn't read THAT much into it. True, he likes you alot... and yes, he is considerate. He's thinking about it... but serious is relative. Serious for you may not be serious for him.
It does mean, that you should probably think about getting him a xmas gift too.

I think he is just using you for your body and wants more sex.
If he says he is going to buy you something. He is thinking you will be putting out more in the future. That is what he is thinking.
