Just wondering if anyone cares to take an honest look at Joel Osteen. He sure appears to have found his calling in Hollywood.

Well, sure: "Go by the Bible." who can read the Bible without interpreters, second opinions and a Concordance? The Bible was meant to be subjective, so that it could serve many conflicting purposes. Those who say "I go by the Bible, solely" are just not telling the truth. Joel Osteen is playing both sides: placating and patronizing everyone. I think contradictory statements should cancel each other out. So, if left to their own devices, it seems that Christians would cancel THEMSELVES out.

are you sure dr. terry watkins who wrote that article isn't just another "false prophet", sounds like a case of the pot calling the kettle black to me... If people would just stop acting like sheep and believing every thing that is said in the name of religion and just believe in a higher power without the middle man, i believe the world would be a much better place...

In addition to God's word and Jesus' works; I only follow what is disclosed in the Bible. I recommend only trusting this source as the way to God.
I never heard of Joel Osteen until now.

Not sure we should call him a false prophet, but we can see that he values money above God, that is using God to pad his checking account.
The bible states that these people will exist and that we are to be aware and stay away, but if his followers only listen to him and do not read their bible, they are just as much at fault for not following Gods will and way.
Hopefully Mr. Olsteen does have a solid rock of biblical education and someone near to him can show him the error of his ways. He could repent much as King David and then be free to Glorify God again.

It is quite sad that this web page has been dedicated to discrediting a ministry on that basis.
It was the right answer to declare that it is God's job, not his, to determine or announce who will and will not make it to heaven.
No matter what the bible says and no matter what our beliefs are on the subject, it isn't our place to declare who is eligible for salvation. God does the calling. God is in charge of the invitations...
Who is the author of the web page who thinks it's HIS job? Good job... the world just doesn't have enough religious division. Keep up the good work!

Yes I am very aware that he is a fake, just in it for the money.
And that hits the nail on the head "He found his calling in Hollywood"
The way that I know this is by the Spirit of God letting me know by his deeds and actions.
Why in an interview , He could not even ascertain that he was a true Christian. He didn't even know how to explain how one becomes born again.
We must pray for the poor duped crowds that just eat up all that garbage

I just looked at the site. IF all is printed is true, it is disturbing. The trend today is to not offend. But by not offending, people will end up in Hell. So many other"other Gospels" are being taught. We need to pray that false prophets get revealed and that the pure Gospel truth is preached.

I am a Christian, and I will say that 99% of those on television are false teachers, only in it for the money.
Don't go by those on television; look to the Bible.
