There is no "war on terror". Only the one the current administration has made us to believe there is because they want us to keep buying fossil fuel so the companies they have a vested interest in can continue to make money and take the focus off of what is being accomplished in France with fussion energy.
Once fussion energy becomes our main source of energy, within the next 10 years, there will be no more "war on terror" because we will have no interest in what the middle east has. Oil. We'll pull out of Iraq so fast that you're head will spin around like Reagan in The Exorcist.
That is what this is all about and only what this is about. If you believe otherwise, you are as foolish as Donald Rumsfield and his buddies.

I say we cut all ties to the middle east, they have been at war since the beginning of time, nothing is going to change. Let them kill each other and then let God sort it all out. The more attention we play into it the worse it is going to be. If we cut ties we are the bad guy and if we help them we are the bully. I would rather be the bad guy and have our young men and women alive and put all that money to good use here in our poverty ridden towns. Fight our own wars with the gangs, and criminals. Lets be more like Canada you don't ever hear about them on the news. Cool collective and laid back.

Pull out troops. This will stop giving the insurgents a recruiting tool and targets. Recruit other countries and UN in rebuilding the infrastructure of Iraq, provide food and relief services while checking borders against guns and drugs. Divest Iraq's resources across a multi-nation consortium, to prevent monopolization and exploitation by a single interest (can you say, "Halliburton"?)
It'll still take some time, but less people will die and that includes our fighting men and women and Iraqi children.

Yes, he needs help....in being removed from his job.
Bush and his cronies created "the war on terrorism" to scare the American public, and it worked.
If her were really serious about making out country safer, he would have adopted the Democrat's proposals to safeguiard out ports, nuclean plants, trains. He wouldn't have gotten us into Iraq in the first place....he had a personal score to settle with Sadam Husein, the guy he says tried to kill his dad. Iraq had nothing to do with terrorism then, but now it does. We'e seen throughout the Muslim world as an invading power who supports their enemy Israel and is out to crush Islam.

Let a General in the Army work on this with others that have military training. Rumsfeld is a non-military -- in that case has no idea what is going on within the military view.

I think there is something to the notion of reincarnation.
I hope I never have to come back to this place. You should hope
and pray I do not as well if it is true. For if I do...
I hate Terrorists! I loathe Terrorists! But I can not do anything this round to help. Please don't ask me why. Please just forgive me
for now.
If reincarnation is true and my soul has to come back to this horror all Terrorists know this! I will find you! I will find you in the material world! I will find you in the spirit world! I will find you for having cause just one tear! I will erase you!
While you sleep! While you eat! While you bath! While you love! While you learn! While you pray! While you meditate! While you do anything in all and every thing in these creations! I will find you! I will find you either here or there! You will not escape and you will never again cause one more tear! I will find all of you! And you will be no more! For ever and ever!
Every soul created has the power to make a choice! I have made mine. Do you know who the Destroyer of Evil is? Creator, Preserver, Destroyer, Hider of sins, and most importantly Blessing to all of Creation!
When it is done, everyone, I mean everyone who is a part of the creation, whether here or there, find me and stop me for the rest of eternity!

I would look at our dismal record in prosecuting war against abstract ideas (Poverty, Drugs, Asian communism) and come up with a flesh and blood enemy. Identify those who have already attacked American soil, capture and punish them.
