You should try taking the IB consistently for the swelling. Then find an anti arthritis (Tylenol-arthritis) to take while at work. Make sure you do ice and heat and ice it every day maybe even 2-3 times a day depending on much pain you are having. That's what I was recommended to do.

No one should have to live in pain, call your doc's office and explain that you do not have insurance but this pain has changed from any pain you have had before. Alot of doc's will see you and bill you a lower amount and let you make payments till it is paid off. I know this because I also have a knee issue and my husband switched jobs so we were without insurance for 3 months and I was in pain management. i had to have my meds. The doc even put me on a cheaper med till out insurance started. you could also go to your employer and ask if they would let you start your insurance before November, Good luck

Have you tried the old fashioned liniments? Watkins Products make a red liniment that might bring you some relief.

I think you are going to have trouble with your going to a doctor about this even after you have insurance in November. You will need to seek how long your period of time for pre-existing conditions exists. You can go to the doctor and the insurance company can refuse to pay, due to pre-existing condition. If you doctor can write the problem as some other condition they might cover it, but it's probably not something the doctor is willing to risk his practice over.

Insurance will be the ruination of this country. SS is hurting and people know it it running out,, but insurance is killing us all.

Try the Watkins Lininment. They also make a white cream liniment, but I think the red might do better.
