My ex gf is confusing me, after our breakup she still wanted to be friends(of course I knew this would be difficult because I still have feelings for her).Our relationship didn't work out because it was long-distance(she's in W.coast I'm in E.coast), I will be here for one more year, then head back over to W.coast.She tells me she wants to keep me in her life, because she loves and cares for me like no one else.She's from Vegas and a bit of a party girl...she says that she's just having a lot of fun right now, but who knows what may happen in the future between us.From what I've heard she's been "around", and doesn't even care about anything right now.I'm the complete opposite of her, and she knows how much I truly love and care for her.I always ask her to tell me the truth with how she feels, but then she always gets mad when I ask. So now, we don't talk much and the only time she bothers is when she's feeling sad or lonely.I can't tell if deep down she really loves me or is using me?

I would say... she is keeping you as a friend, a best friend. Even though you and her do not really talk any more, she knows she can turn to you in times of troubles and you will be there for her. (Right?)
And of course, you can't really tell if a lady is using you or loving you till events and situations happens between two of you. It is only then you will be able to know and decide if she is using you or not.
But for me, if I were in your shoes, I would find her treating me as her best friend still. And knows that I can be pillow and punching bag when she is sad or pissed.
You must also understand that some girls do not express their feelings via words, but sometimes and usually by actions.
