yes, i'd go back to the land of my grandfather... if the english return our family castle and the land they stole. as thats not going to happen, ill stay here and drain their coffers...
and we're from county Cork.

I wish I was Irish descent because I love Ireland and the people.
I once went there for a week and stayed 8 months.

My father was Irish and I am doing my family tree ,Ireland is fascinating and I hope to get there for a holiday next year

My fiancee and i are planning a honeymoon there, His fathers parents came over. The last name just says Irish, that's why I Love him.

I would go if I could get a job there. I am 3rd generation English and have never been over to the land of my ancestores yet.

Why would they want to return, it's one of the most expensive places to live in the world. Corrupt Government, no public transport, don't get me started with the healtcare and complete grid lock. Ahh but sure we're great craic!!!!

good question I am 3 gen Irish American and I almost did it...I may still do it actually...I lived and worked there "illegally" for a while but they didn't care because I have tons of relatives over there...

I'd like to live there and experience the beauty of the land that my forefathers did. I'd like to find the other side of our family that stayed there years ago.

i would definatley go and live their would love to live in the middle of nowhere surrounded by countryside.......unfortunately i am assuming that there would be difficulties getting work so until i win the lottery or retire think i'll have to stay in UK
