Its basically hot sauce
THE GREATEST BUFFALO CHICKEN WING
SAUCE
2 cups of dry cayenne peppers (50 grams)
1/2 cup of water
1/3 cup of chopped onion
1 chopped garlic
1/3 cup of chopped tomato
1 cup of white vinegar
1 stick of butter
1 bottle of lousiana sauce
1/2 lemon's juice
1 teaspoon of honey
1/4 cup of ketchup
This recipe is one of a kind. Ever since I ventured into making my own kind of chicken wing sauce, my wife, my friends and my family won't stop coming over to have some of this delicious finger-licking good special sauce. And here's how you make it:
Start by roasting the cayenne peppers on a pan over a medium high flame. Toss them around inside the pan for a couple of minutes and make sure you don't let these get burned. Add enough water to cover the peppers and bring water to a boil. Let them cook for ten minutes. Drain water and place them in blender. Add 1/2 Cup of Water, 1/2 Cup of Vinegar and salt. Blend on high and percolate.
Place butter stick on a pan over a medium flame so that it melts. Add Onion, Garlic, Tomato and the whole bottle of Lousiana Sauce. Let all cook for about five minutes stirring occasionally. Immediately pour into blender and add the percolated cayenne pepper sauce. Blend on high for two minutes. Add the lemon’s juice, the honey and the ketchup, and blend again for a few seconds. Pour back into the pan where you melted the butter, and let it simmer for a good 20 minutes.
What I usually do, is fry the chicken wings until they’re golden brown and very crispy and then I dip each one into the sauce.

12 to 16 whole chicken wings
pour in a bowl:
1 bottle ( 13 to 15 oz.) Frank's Hot Sauce
6 to 8 oz. of your favorite barbecue sauce such as kraft, sweet baby ray's, etc.
6 sprays of butter
mix well
cover the bowl with a paper towel and heat for 40 seconds.
right before you remove the wings from the oven, fryer, or grill heat the sauce again for 30 seconds
when the wings are done place them in a heavy duty aluminum foil lined aluminum pan. pour sauce over the wings.
IMMEDIATELY cover tightly with a piece of heavy duty aluminum foil, shake the covered pan coating the wings, and try not to let the aluminum topping touch the wings while sitting. DO NOT OPEN for 15 minutes allowing the wings to continue cooking (this is called resting-you should do this with every meat you cook)

I've never had these sauces but here is the one that I make for my family.
1 bottle La Victoria hot sauce
1/2 stick of butter
2 packages Good Seasons Italian salad dressing (dry)
1 lemon squeezed
Combine in a pot and heat till color changes or butter is melted. Put in the wings and then bake till done.
It really is a good sauce and the best part is that you choose the degree of heat you want.

I know that you can use Louisiana hot sauce and that is what is in most pre packaged sauces. There is a couple of dry packaged powders also and they are pretty good. I just used one brand of buffalo hot sauce on some ribs the other week and it was excellent.

Franks Red Hot makes a good buffalo wing sauce. To make your own, pick your favorite hot sauce (again, I like Franks) and combine with melted butter.

This is really good! I use Louisiana, but go ahead and use your favorite hot sauce.
6 Tbsp. butter
1/3 cup hot sauce of choice
1 packet of Good Seasonings Italian dressing mix.
Stir over med-low until combined.
SO GOOD! (The Italian dressing powder is very important.)

Buffalo Wings
2 cups vegetable oil
10 whole, fresh chicken wings, cut in pieces (20 wing pieces)
1 stick butter
4 tablespoons brown sugar
5 tablespoons tomato sauce
1/4 teaspoon garlic
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon oregano, fresh or dried
Dash beer
1 dash hot sauce (recommended: Frank's Hot Sauce)
Chicken Wing preparation: Heat 2 cups vegetable oil to 350 degrees F in a large skillet on stovetop. Drop wing pieces into hot oil and fry for 10 to 15 minutes or until crisp. Transfer wings to paper towels to remove excess oil.
Buffalo Wing Sauce: Melt butter and brown sugar together over medium heat in a small saucepan on stovetop. Add tomato sauce and hot sauce into mixture. Finally, add garlic, onion powder, white pepper, chili powder, salt, and oregano. Add a dash of beer, to taste. Stir over low heat until mixture is well blended.
Toss sauce liberally over chicken wings. Serve buffalo wings with blue cheese dressing, carrots and/or celery sticks.
