Of course not...
God loves us, while we are still sinners; yet, He does not embrace our sinful thoughts and actions!
Rather, He is long-suffering, patient, and loving. Nevertheless, we will still die as a result of our sins...but those with faith in Christ will be saved.

The "love the sinner, hate the sin" idea sounds good rhetorically, but in practice, all it ends up being is the latter part of the phrase. People define themselves by the choices they make; it is way too simplistic to attempt to draw a line between identity and action.
Instead, you should just "love". Drop the rest of it. Don't worry about what they're doing, don't even focus on what you think is 'inappropriate' enough to hate it. Just love them. The rest detracts from that.

God says we must love each other, as He has loved us. This is His greatest commandment. Bless your enemies and pray for them, do not hate or shun them. Love them with the love of Christ. This is not always easy to do. Let God love them through you. The Holy Spirit will guide you and use you (your mouth and actions), if you let Him. Are you born again? If you have been saved, then the Holy Spirit lives within you and you must not hold back whatever action or words He wishes to speak or do. But be SURE that it is the Holy spirit and not your own words or actions. This comes with learning to know the voice of God. does not always happen right away, at least with me. I am still learning. When in doubt, PRAY.

No where in the bible does it say you have to like your bible. So the word like isn't in God's dictionary its not an option to God. So you either love or not to love. But I get what you are saying. If you don't like your enemy you surely can't love your enemy. Like comes before loving your enemy. not after.

What a great question!
You can love someone without loving what they do. There's a big distinction between a person and their actions. As sons of God, we're called to love everyone, because we understand we're all connected, and that God is the Father of us all. We can't love God without loving His children.
When we love ppl, we aren't loving their deeds-- but we're loving their essential nature. The same with our relationship with God-- we don't love God because of what He does for us-- we love God for who He is. Ppl, at their core, are extensions of God's love, and were made perfect and holy. In a mass dissolutionment, we thought we were seperate from God and seperate from each other. It's what allows us to try to assert on our "identity" or independence, but we're all connected and dependent on each other in reality. Our false sense of independence allows us to do things that harm others or to react in ways that are self-concerning and not embracing. God says that you need to embrace everyone and love them like you love yourself, and that means you should be concerned with what you do because what you do ultimately effects others.
A bomb going off in Japan will effect someone in Denver, regardless if it's now or 10 years from now with retaliatory effects.
So, long story short.. we have to love each other and do for others what we do for ourselves. It's not a request, it's a necessity.

No...you do not have to love what they do or tell them it is OK. Just be kind, loving, compassionate, and considerate. You never have to pretend that wrongdoing is OK...your actions of love will speak novels to them. Neat avatar, by the way!!

You have to accept them. It doesn't matter you embrace it or not. You don't have to say that it's okay, but it's wrong to say it's not okay. As long as they aren't hurting anyone (and no, that doesn't include "their souls"), stay out of it.

We do say, God loves you, so do I. It does not mean one has to embrace everything that others do!
