No one except God is to pass judgement. The bible says to love one another unconditionally.. Ten commandments state..."Love they Neighbor". Wether you believe someone's lifestyle will hurt them or is sinful, it is none of your business according to the bible.

Do not just tell part of the story, tell the WHOLE thing. Jesus was present when a woman taken in adultery was brought to Him and they asked about what they should do to her. Under the Law of Moses they had the right to stone this woman, AND the man, for committing this sin. Jesus tells them, "Ye who are without sin cast the first stone." They left because each one HAD sin.

The next part is what most people leave off...Jesus tells the women to go her way, her accusers are gone, and then...HERE IT IS....He tells her to SIN NO MORE!

She did not become absolved of the sin, she was rescued from her accusers. They were right. Jesus was right. He showed MERCY, not tolerance for sin.

Righteous judgment always must start with looking into your own life and casting out sin. The passage which says, "Judge not, lest ye be judged" also asks HOW can you get anything out of your brother's eyes, when you TOO are blinded by specks in your eyes? First you clear up your vision, then you may see clearly to be able to assist your brother.

Homosexuality is condemned in scripture. We MUST stand with the scripture, YET, we MUST keep ourselves clean before God. Yes, we have sin, but we strive to NEVER ever have willful sin...you know what willful sin is...sin you love to do, you enjoy, sin you would NOT stop doing EVER if you could avoid it. Sexual sins fall into this catagory. How could anything which feels this good be bad...isn't it love?

It is not about love and feeling good. It is about doing what God wants and NOT what you or I want. There is the key. Christians submit to God...they give up willful sin, no matter how good it feels at the time, in order to follow the precepts and principles of a greater mind.

I think that you're a Christian in name only if you pass judgement and spew hatred about the perceived sins of others. The people who are the most judgemental are usually the ones most in need of forgiveness for their own sins.

I'm fortunate to know many gay men with wonderful characters (I know a gay man who's character I don't much admire also but it's because he's a habitual liar and has nothing to do with his sexual orientation)

You can still be a christian but will need to answer to God for doig the job only He is supposed to do. Vengence and judgement are ine saith the Lord. We can give you scripture that tells what will happen to homosexuals such as 1 Corinthians 6:9-19 and more but the judgement is up to God for we can not know if you have cjanged your heart and lifestyle.

The Biblical view of homosexuality is this:
1) it's a sin
2) But we must love the person sinning, even while they are still doing it.

The Bible says in Romans "it was while we were still sinners that Christ died for the ungodly." Therefore, while homosexuality is a sin, it is not right to hate the person doing it.

Also, the verse you quote is out of context. Here it was over the application of the death penalty to someone who had commited adultery. Here it was to the effect that the Pharisees were ready to punish someone who had sinned but were not leading moral lives themselves.

Casting judgement is not our job as Christians. We all sin and in God's eyes sin is sin. God does consider homosexuality a sin just as he does lies, greed, judgement, and other sins. (We know that he considers it a sin , (read Saddam and Gomorrah in the book of Genesis in the Bible).

God will forgive us, he knows are hearts. God loves the sinner but hates the sin. I believe that if we except Jesus as our savior, pray and seek forgiveness for our short comings God finds favor with us.

When you commit sin ask for Gods grace and mercy. Ask Him for guidence and to set you free of that sin. People can be set free from sin if that is their true desire. The closer a relationship that you have with God the easier it is to be set free of our sins. Your relationship will grow with God if you read his word and live it everyday. Spend time with him in prayer, give him thanks for who He is.

Now with that being said, if you keep committing the same sin and you do not feel any conviction....you might want to worry about your eternal future. God knows your heart and if your committing sin without conviction seek God.

There are tons of non believers out there that think Christians are wacko's, misguided, weak minded freaks. My feeling is if I am wrong I lose nothing, I led a good life and was happy. I found that something that was missing in my life and felt complete. If you are wrong you have lost everything.

If you are not sure and you want to be sure that when you die you will go to heaven. Take a moment and ask Jesus into your heart, ask him to forgive you of all of your sins. Ask him to make you a new person in him.

He loves you and wants what is best for you. (Jeremiah 29:11).

Is it arson for me to tell you that your house in on fire, and that you need to get out? Why then would it be sinful for me to tell you what God said about any sin, including homosexuality?

It's not wrong to make a judgement; in fact, it is commanded:
John 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

If I tell you what the Bible says, it's not my words or my judgement; it's God's.

1 Corinthians 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

"Abusers of themselves with mankind" is translated from a compound word in Greek, meaning "men who bed men." It's a clear warning. If you don't like it, ask God if He'll change His word to be more to your liking - but don't hold your breath.

What right does a gay man have to judge anyone? No sinner can judge another sinner, let alone a child of God. An active gay man puts himself in a position to be judged. When Jesus gave us the rule that you are talking about, it was given from him to his disciples. He was speaking to his followers, telling them not to judge one another. We are not to judge one another as far as what mission God has given each one of us, but certainly the sin of one is to be brought before all, so that that sin can be forgiven and repented. The problem with homosexuals is that they refuse to admit that their lifestyle is displeasing to God. They think that they can have homosexuality and Jesus at the same time. Jesus will have no part of their sin. Amen.

To call homosexuality a sin, or any biblically identified sinful act as sinful, is not passing judgement; it is stating the truth.

We are all sinners [Rom 3:23]. And we are sinners because we know what actions/thoughts are biblically categorized as sin.

Ignorance is not bliss.
