It is doubtful that your IQ has decreased. Maybe you are preoccupied with other matters right now that need your attention. Maybe you are suffering from generalized anxiety. If it continues, I would see a doctor. Good Luck ! :)

I agree with the first respondant. You are probably suffering from anxiety issues. Funny, how anxiety tends to cloud our perceptions. Anxiety is constantly nagging at us, demanding our focus. It gets in the way of seeing things objectively, or learning new things. Anxiety is often misdiagnosed as "learning disorders". And when you are labled as such, you tend to believe it. The best way to deal with your situation, is to start working out, and giving your body a chance to produce endorphins to help with your anxiety. Then read a small section at a time, and try to explain it to someone in your own words. Use examples of behaviors you have personally witnessed. By "teaching" somebody something, you are actually teaching yourself, and thus gaining a greater understanding of it. Once you start to realize how much you don't know, you are learning! I know, it sounds like the reverse, but think about it. If you felt like you knew everything, you would be very ignorant. And don't confuse ignorance with stupidity. Ignorance is what you don't know about, that's all. Studying social relationships is something you do every day. You just need to break it down into small parts, and apply the concepts to situations you are familiar with. I know you can do this. You just have to try new ways of looking at things.
