Do you realize that in order to clone a person one must first take a fertilized ovum and replace it with other DNA thereby destroying the life that was previously? Is this not playing God? I believe it is completely wrong.

All's you do once you're making a clone, is make a twin to the guy you're cloning. basically as a twin has a soul, so might the clone. i do no longer consider cloning because of the fact I dont see the ingredient. I propose does no longer you will get the mothers and dads permission of the guy you're cloning earlier doing so, considering the fact that what you're relatively doing is making them yet another newborn. Why might you may make a twin anyhow? I dont understand the ingredient in any respect. I questioning cloning organs could be great because of the fact it might save lives, yet to clone an entire guy or woman is senseless.

No the Bible says nothing about cloning..But it would be against God..

For Christians, this comes down to God's created order that we marry and produce children through the His ordained means of procreation. Human cloning goes against this and risks the manipulation and murder of another human life. Then there is the question of the soul. Does a clone have a soul, since God created man in completeness...

the cloning of full human beings would be wrong since it rebels against God's created order of having a mother and a father, of using the God-ordained procreative means, and it usurps God's sovereign right to be the author of the life in the womb. Science wants clones more for stem cell research..Since when is it acceptable to sacrifice the life of one human for another..?????

To my knowledge, no has successfully cloned a human. The church is opposed to cloning because it is a futile attempt to create a person that will live eternally on earth. It is taking the genetic process out of the hands of God and putting it into the hands of science. It is no different than what the Nazis did in WWI, that of seeking to create the master race. The insertion of the soul into the body of a human is God's business, not man's. Animals do not have souls, so please don't refer to Dolly the sheep.

I think the reason the church may be having a problem with cloning is what it could possibly turn into. People may eventually clone someone to use them for body parts...like they are not a real human being. There are too many people out there that will take something decent and turn it into something twisted and immoral. I think we should be careful with cloning...it seems that everything that has been cloned has problems.

Debra M--I didn't know that. Thanks for the info. So, if that is the case, you are killing one to create another. That is awful.
