can i use my 1394 firewire to send audio and video to my 50" samsung tv?

If you get a Canopus ADVC-100 you can convert the firewire to A/V signal. There are also other makes and models but the Canopus works the best for me.

Very few TVs have firewire connectors. Some Sonys did, but the newer sets no longer have them.
