Go and get a hair cut..Even if it is just your ends..But you want all the split and borken ends gone!! that might take it really short..and you might not want to go that short..So go as short as you are willing to and then keep going back till all the bad ends are gone...Good conditioner..Biologe is my personal fave..buy what you are going to use at the salon...They are better for your hair than what you get at Walmart or Target...No curlers....NO HEAT! NO CHEMICALS!! Only use a blow dryer if it is a have to moment...Go to Walmart and get one of the new Ouchless hair brushes by Goodie..I almost didn't because of the brand and it being $5.oo I thought yeah right..DO IT...I am always doing major damage to my hair..I use lots of chemicals..but if you take good care of you hair inbetween and keep the bad ends gone you won't fry it out...I use more chemicals than anyone I know..My stylest says she knows nobody that does what I do and has hair as healty as mine...

All depends on how much you are able to afford, you have several choices. First of all the best think to do is cut it out, the part that is "fried" will never repair it self since it has no live cells in it to help restore it to it's original state. Depending on what you have on your hair, one of the best alternatives would be hot oil treatments and a good leave in conditioner. If you use a straightener this might calm your frizzes but be sure to use it on a low low temp. and watch for breakage. You need to baby your hair and try to stay away from brushing the fried hair this will only promote more frizz

Cutting it 1st is the best thing, Get a tub of cholesterol treatment at a beauty supply store. After washing your hair massage your scalp real well with the cholesterol spread it onto your hair, cover with a plastic/shower cap and go under the drier for about 20/30 minutes and then rinse it out. Massage your scalp as much as possible. Don't put any more stress on your hair : no gels and sprays with alcohol, no blow drying etc. Try taking hair vitamins also. Good luck.

Mayonnaise....gross but works wonders. You put it on dry hair and cover it with a shower cap for 20 minutes, then wash your hair (usually twice). It will leave your hair soft and smooth. (Works because the oils in mayo are very close to the natural oil in your hair.) If you still have damaged ends then a good haircut. Good Luck!

You could cut it short and then when the unhealthy hair that is left grows out enough, cut it short again. Then let it grow to the length you want. Or you could gradually cut it as it grows. Conditioners will work to some extent, but usually it will look better if you just get if off.

Even if your hair is thin-use L'oreal Vive for thick, course hair--it's in an orange bottle and works wonders--i have thick hair that gets tangly in the morning if i don't dry it at night
