Probably for the same reason folks use bidets.
A bidet is a sit-down wash basin that's convenient and helps conserve water. Long considered to be a luxury item, bidets are becoming an increasingly common addition to the bath.

i am muslim too.in our religion u must be very clean to pray.so muslims wash themselves with clean water after using toilet.and just cleaning with papers is not enough.
