I cut my own hair. I would prefer a hairdresser to do it, but sometimes I cannot afford it. The best tips for cutting hair is to actually take notice of the hairdressers when they cut hair...thats how I got all my tips...I used to cut my husbands hair as well, and may I say it turned out heaps better than when the hairdresser did it. My hair looks pretty good too when I do it myself...No-one has ever noticed, so I must be doing it OK. Like I said the best tips are watching a professional do the cutting....after a while you will get the hang of it yourself.

ummm...... i wouldn't advise it. Smand the 5 bucks and get it done by someone so you don't end up with a bald spot on the back of your head.
but if you are going to do it. Make sure you have plenty of mirrors and clippers that are new with good guards
