Alright this is a bit long but i hope you'll take time to read it....
No i don't because i don't believe it is Islamic or that God believed it was necessary otherwise God would have put it in the Qur'an, which, according to Muslims, is the FINAL Haddith or religious scripture and the last to be divine and from God. As it is not in the Qur'an, the word hjab is not mentioned anywhere in how women should dress, I don't as i make a point of following Gods wishes and following ONLY the Qur'an as i don't think he was a lier when he says the "Qur'an is fully detailed?"(6:114) and "we did not leave anything out of this book" (6:3839). I don't follow Sunnah for God doesn't want this: "you Muhammed cannot guide even the ones you love" (28:56). "Your only mission (O' Muhammed) is to deliver (the Qur'an)" (42:48, 13:40 etc). Muhammed(P.B.U.H.) says:"I am no more than a human being like you"(18:110).
The word "Khimar" is found in the section on women's dress, and it means cover, any cover, shirt, scarf etc. Some Muslim point to 31 of sura 24 as containing hijab because it has the word "Khomoorehenna" (from Khaimir) but it does not mean hijab otherwise God would have just put hijab like he did in other sections. Head cover or veil is often added in brackets () after this word because it is an addition influenced from hadith. I believe God is asking women to cover their bosoms, not hair for it does not have to mean "veil". If god wanted us to cover our hair 'He' would have just said so clearly and used the word hijab, which he didn't. 'Gayb' is in the verse, which is arabic for chest, but 'Raas' (head) or Shaar (hair) is not mentioned, surely God would have if this was the intnetion of the verse "as he does not run out of words" and the "Qur'an is whole and perfect".
While i don't think the Hijab or head covering is necessary (other Muslims who think this include Queen Rania of Jordan), i do respect why women wear it and their reason behind wearing it.

Yes, I do. It is a personal choice, and a matter of interpretation of the Quran. Some women do not wear hijab, but dress in a way that is very modest by secular standards. I would rather see that than hypocracy and judgementalism.
As I understand what is written, I feel the it is a part of modest attire, and modest attire is required according to the Quran. Did you know that Christian women are also supposed to cover their hair according to the letters of Paul? Some groups still do, and most did until the past 100 years or so.

I am a muslim woman, but dont wear a head scarf as I choose not to for the time being. I have every intention and will wear one in the future (probably when I get married). My sister wears a head scarf as do some of my friends. It is a personal choice and I feel that women should only wear one if they understand why and if THEY want to.

I am a muslim and i do wear head covering. In islam it is compulsory for any mature/adult woman to cover any part of her body that entice/lead a man to commit sin. And hair falls into this category.
Besides it is not only muslim women who does that, I have seen quite a seizable number of women in christians religious films doing that(Nuns inclusive).
