I am not sure if you mean the actual tests that you have to pass to get your European driving licence or whether you mean the classes leading up to the actual test.

There is a website you can go www. ecdl.co.uk or ask at your local college.

I take it you have been using a computer for a long time and that you have used word, excel, and other packages like that. Because the ecdl is to prove your computing skills and is not for the novice.

Good luck...don't get nervous just use lateral thinking and you be okay.

A number of different colleges, organisations etc can provide the ECDL course so it depends on how your local training provider chooses to operate it. When i did it I had 2 consecutive mornings of learning for a module then took the test and did this once per month for each module-but it felt like we were going at a really slow pace. I know someone who did all the modules in a week.

Normally it is but some places ask you do do a certain amount of hours a week. So the sessions may be on 3 times a week and you might be asked to do 3 hours a week so you can choose to do it all in one go or spread it over the week.

if you have enough braincells to use the internet then the ECDL should be a piece of p***.

One piece of advice - don't forget to use the spell check option if your spelling is poor. Makes you look thick, especially to employers.
