Yes, pyrex is good stuff. Just don't put it in the oven if it's cold from the freezer. Start at room temperature and you'll be fine.

Pyrex as a rule is overproof thats what they are designed for.
Check for any cracks or chips before putting it in a hot oven, as it could possibly cause the dish to break.
Pyrex is also dishwasher and microwave safe (as long as it has no metal on it).

It should say Oven Proof on the bottom of the bowl, but 99.99% are oven proof!
