Make sure you eat before you run about 30-45 mins before. This lets your body digest the food and helps your muscles start to produce oxygen. Also I reccomend a banana or a potasium supplement. Helps to reduce the amount of lactic acid your muscles will produce.

Hello there, i can help you by just answering generally. Cramps happen because of buildup of lactic acid in your muscles which made it painful and hard to contract. On prevention, i think you should warm up your muscles or use some warmup cream in order to prevent cramps.that's all i know hope this will be good answer to you. :)
Cheers

Dehydration.
Drink 2 cups of water about 1 hour before you start your run. Drink another cup of water just before you start your run. Then drink something like Gatorade during your run to keep electrolytes in balance.

In addition to the gatorade, try warming up and do stretching exercises before you run.
Good luck!
