Yes! It is necessary to go. You can go to the er - they cannot refuse service to you & you can always pay later in small payments. You do need to go though, they will do a beta quant test to make sure your hcg levels are dropping rapidly like they should be. You may need to have a D & C, if you do need it & you don't get it, it could cause you to have major problems later & even make you not able to carry a child at all. Please go get taken care of, it is for the best interest of your health & any possibility of later carrying a pregnancy to term. Good luck, I am very sorry for your loss, I know how you feel I've been through it.
Edited to add:
Please don't not go because you think a D & C will screw you up inside (like someone on here suggests). The doctor will do the beta quant test & an evaluation to see if you need a D & C, if you don't they won't do it, if you still have membranes in the uterus they have to get it out. This will make you better not worse. I did not have to have one after my miscarriage because my hcg levels were dropping rapidly like they should & the doc puched around on my stomach & didn't feel that there was anything still left in there. However I have had 2 D & C's after having my son & my youngest daughter, there was placenta still left over that didn't come out, which cause me to continue bleeding & they had to get it out. With my youngest daughter it wasn't realized until a week later when I woke up & covered the bathroom floor with blood it was so bad, I had to have an emergency D & C which saved my life basically. I lost A LOT of blood, if I had lost the slightest bit more blood I would have had to have a transfusion.
Please don't wait to find out in a week that the membranes are still in there & cause yourself major problems. Go to the doc now.

properly it sort of feels atypical that your dr. is telling you your hcg tiers are precise on the right track and then saying you're dropping the toddler. I had a miscarriage in would of this twelve months(mothers day) i had very low hcg tiers and we knew m/c substitute into going to happen. With this being pregnant i had extreme hcg tiers, we lost a twin, and at 5 wks there substitute into no heartbeat by vaginal ultrasound yet we observed the two gestational sacs and one had a yolk sac in it. At an ultrasound at 6wks and 3 days, it substitute into shown that twin B had no longer made it, and twin A had a heartbeat that variety into in basic terms waiting to be picked up with a transvaginal ultrasound in any different case we could have been advised that there substitute into no heartbeat if that they had used merely the tummy one. i'd say which you will desire to get a 2d opinion and additionally wait the two weeks like your contemporary dr. mentioned in case you do no longer miscarry then request extra bloodwork and a vaginal ultrasound till now doing D&C to make certain you're miscarrying, in the adventure that your hcg tiers are dropping then its in all probability a miscarriage, in the event that they are transforming into then it can not be. i desire each and everything works out for you and you at the instant are not miscarrying..

I have to disagree with most every one. At 7 weeks your body can pretty much take care of itself. If your bleeding continues for much longer than a regular period than you may want to hit the help department or you can go to a crisis pregnancy center and they will often check you out free of charge. A d&c is very common pratice but often not needed and can sometimes scar your tissues and make it more difficult for implantation the next ime you try to get pregnant. You really need to have 3 cycles before triing agian with a D&C . As to if you do it naturally you can try agian after one cycle. Best Wishes to you. Make sure you take care of yourself and give yourself a chance to grieve your loss. God Bless

If you don't have the money to go to a doctor after a miscarriage then how did you afford to go to find out that you really were pregnant in the first place and how did you plan on taking care of yourself prenatal and your baby post natal? Birth control is a lot less expensive.

I don't think anyone's going to hold a gun to your head; but with the risk of infection so great (which could cause so many more complications, and potentially damage your ability to have children in the future) would you really want to risk it?
Talk to your insurance company, or your parents, or your doctor's office -- you may very well be able to set up some sort of a payment plan to spread out the costs.

If you don't have the money for a doctor go to the health department. At least have them check you out. If you didn't completely pass everything you could get an infection. Good Luck

You have to get a hormone level drawn to determine if the body has passed everything. You may need a D&C. How would you know if you passed the baby if you were only 7 weeks. It's not a formed baby.

I think you should go to the doctor. You need to be sure that everything is well. There was a reason you miscarried, don't you want to know. You may need a d and c. I would be concerned over infection if I were you. Go to a planned parenthood for advice. It is a sliding scale payment. Sorry to hear of your loss.

You should go to a doctor to be certain everything is out of you. If anything remains within your body, you can develop toxins, an infection and other problems. If you cannot afford to go to a doctor, try a city owned emergency room, or see if there is any local clinic that does charity work.
