What do guys tell us guys that we can't wear make-up or hoop earings or w/e it is that they don't like ... They think we if care about them why not just listen to them and not do it.... So why do guys do that to us Girls?

It's called mental abuse. Insecure guys will do this because they are scared to death that the girl will leave them for someone better.
Most of these types of guys have no job, live at home or have no money. They'll beat a woman down so far mentally that she begins to believe she can't do any better than the guy she's with.
Guys like that should be taken out back and shot.

depends on the situation,there r 3 situations
1.if it's a jus a guyfriend of urs,or a dad,well alot of times he will jus b trying to protect u and if u r wearing somthing that makes u look like a slut he will tell u to stop wearing it so as not to attract sluty guys....and in that case a girl SHOULD listen to him....
2. but if it's somone who maby likes u and won't get together w/u unless u wear somthign else then he dosn't really like u if he did he would like u as u r. and DON"T listen to him then
3.but if it's ur bf,LISTEN to him.somtimes u jus gotta trust him,he knows what looks nice on u and what he likes better on you,do it for him jus cuz he wants u to and u love him,if u won't do that for him then u shouldn;t b with him.

"Protecting"-more like pissing on their territory. A guy will only do what he is allowed to do, if a girl doesn't like it she needs to move on and find a man who is secure enough in himself to be with a woman who can make her own choices. If he starts telling you what you can and can't wear, the next step is where you can and can't go then who you can and can't visit. Next thing you know you are in the ER with a busted lip trying to convince the doctor you ran into a cupboard.

Sound's like somebody is trying to dominate you. If you tolarate that behavior he will soon steal your self esteem. Run as fast as you can from that kind of person. They are nothing but trouble and more trouble. Look at guy's that know you have thought's of your own and listen's to you. This creep you're talking about here think's you can't even dress yourself properly. Don't lose your self worth, RUN!!!

They are control freaks. Stay away from a guy who will tell you what not to wear, how not to do your hair, etc.
Now, it is a little different if they prefer a different style. For example my husband likes my hair long and he likes it when I wear it down. That is how he thinks it looks best, but he would never tell me not to cut it or anything like that.

because they try to control us thinking that they r our parents not realizing that they r just a bf..
but u know what it's the females who encourages it, because instead of them wearing what they want when they want they'll go and change thinking oh he loves me and cares for me when he's really just molding u into what he wants u to be...

Because most guys want them to have you to themselfs so now one has a reason to look at u or anything...but sometimes it gets kinda old not bein able to wear wut u want...sometime or another u will have to tell the guy wut U want to do and wut U are gonna wear....well guys just need to know that gurls like to look hott when they leave the house... they dont mean for other guys too look at them...they just put nice cloths on a leave the house!!

nobody tells me what i can't wear, but my mother still tries every Sunday when i stop over on my way to work. Figure more she dosen't like-better i must look
