Are bogeys clean?

Question

I personally don't go round picking my nose or wiping them on anything and I wouldn't want anyone else too.

But are bogeys clean, they must partly consist of dust and pollution, right?

yes you are correct they do contain small particles of dust or dirt and the reason why they are in the nose is quite simple,
the nose is the filter system that protects the airway and the lungs from invading bacteria,
the hairs in your nose help to prevent these particles getting into the lungs ect.
the people who pick their noses and actually eat the product are doing no harm to themselves at all,as the products go down via the esophagus into the stomach where it is dealt with by the contents of the stomach(acid)

there are tiny hairs in your nose that trap a lot of germs and dust etc. once it has been collected, it turns into a bogey (or something like that). so no, i wouldn't say they are clean as they consist of germs and dust and anything else that your nasal hairs stopped

Just keep on cleaning that nose dear, I've never heard of any body dying from dirt in the nose. Seriously, maybe you could benefit from an air purifier in your home. There's a lot of dirt & smog in the atmosphere & it gets into our homes.

Yes they are unclean because they are part of the body's filter system.
