For all those who are saying that intelligent people don't use this website; well that's slightly unfair. Of course some people use it to say things like "Please tell me your best jokes, I'm feeling down" - but others use it for the intended purpose of finding answers to genuine and sincere questions. And in answer to the main question here - I'd recommend nice sending messages to individual people.

By all means tell them.... Messege them... Friendship only starts when someone makes a first move... DO NOT be pushy / needy though, that is a huge turn off to potential new friends. Be sure you come to the table with your own intelligence, for people have nothing to gain from friendships filled with dummies. ; )

My Mother was told by a very rich and intelligent woman once, "be yourself in all company, don't pretend because people will see through it. If you are yourself then people will like you for who you are." so just communicate with them, read their 360 sites and the questions they ask and talk. If your genuine then they will respond.

Get a 360 pages set up, then you can have a whole network for friends that you can keep in touch with like minded people, displaying your attributes and interests

I am afraid you would have very few friends. From the questions I see on this site, I question whether or not there is much intelligence that goes with the question. Responses are also suspect as well.

if they have their "messages" activated, just send them a message; or if they have a 360 page, send a message from there. if you dont know where i am talking about, just click on the name of the person that interests you, then look around their personal page. im sure youll find what you're looking for :o)

answers is used by all sorts, the brainy,witty,curious, stupid etc
i use it as a bit of fun, but admit i have learned some quite interesting info from others questions
