I dont know how old you are, but as you get older most people learn to come to terms with life and develope ways to appreciate life and keep happy. It is human nature to want "bigger and better" things. It is not good to be jealous. Sometimes a small amount of envy is normal. There will always be people that have more than you and some that have alot less. Take a globe of the world and think about the living conditions of people in each country. Overall you probably are better off. I know alot of people that would be thrilled to live in Britain. Appreciate what you have. That is not the point though. You need to take responsiblity for your own happiness. Aim to better yourself and dont compare yourself to others. Feel good when you better yourself. By the way, I was born in Montreal and still live in Canada. I am a proud Canadian and do believe it is the best country in the world. On the other hand you may have other things in life that I dont have. Maybe a closer social unit with family and friends? Appreciate and accept what God has given you and work to make it better for yourself.

well that's every day in the Urban US areas. They're used to it and live pretty well. How about those teens that were gun down in DC while one died protecting a infant baby.
