I am a democrat from Massachusetts. Joe was a former Congressman (R) and now MSNBC journalist. He is the only person I listen and I agree from RNC point of view. So, watch him on MSNBC and tell him to run for President. I will vote for him. He is young, cool, funny, educated, and an honest politician and a superb commentrator. So, the question is would you vote for him as President? No, he hasn't paid me for this. I just thought people should know this nice guy and recognize him. More power to him.

Guys: After reading your comments, and on my second thought - may be its a bad idea to vote for him and i agree that he is not that cool. I did not know all these facts. Thanks for the corrections. Peace.

Hell, if you're going to let a mess of other people tell you how to vote, why bother.

Of all the things in your possession, the one thing that separates you from everyone else is YOUR VOTE.

Hold it tight, don't let anyone influence you, handle it like you handle your very existence and cast it your way for the people you want.

Think of the thousands of people who died to make sure you would have that vote. Imagine giving up your life so that each of us living can vote.

It's the greatest thing in our life, and will always be the greatest thing.

Don't throw it away.

Well, there is that nasty issue about finding his congressional aide, Lori Klausutis, dead in his office on July 21, 2001. Funny how it made such little news at the same time the search was on for Chaundra Levy.

Then the Medical Examiner who did the autopsy was dismissed and replaced with one who had contributed to Scarbourough's campaign.

Here's an example of Joe's sense of humor about it:

"Conservative MSNBC news host Joe Scarborough was a guest on MSNBC's Imus show last Thursday, May 29. In complementing Scarborough on his sense of humor, Imus said, 'Don't be afraid to be funny, because you are funny. I asked you why you aren't in Congress. You said that you had sex with the intern and then you had to kill her.' To which Scarborough laughed, 'Yeah, ha, ha ha, well, what are you gonna do?'"

Why do you think he got out of politics?

Another Republican doing God's work, right?

Sorry, Mr Been there -

But America is nothing but people who are told how to vote. Elections are marketing campaigns - no more no less. You sell a Hummer; you sell a President. Money and power. Voters are consumers - and we must consume.

How many Americans can define the word fascist - accurately? And, just because Bush learned to say it, you cannot assume he understands it. Why should he? It really does not apply to the groups he attaches it to. It's just a word to stir the emotions of the voter/consumer.

'Fascist' is being introduced like a product name. Since no one knows what it really means the administration marketing people can define it any way they wish. All the voter knows is: 1) it's a bad thing, and 2) it's something to be afraid of.

The word is becoming a part of everyday conversation and will help frame the political debate - but, in truth, it is irrelevant and meaningless. I'm afraid the sad truth is that the American public is too stupid to vote responsibly.

The Founding Fathers worried that an ill-informed and naive populace would be taken in by liars and political criminals, and end their grand experiment. Well, it was good while it lasted.
